God instructed Jesus regarding certain gospels and truths. Bible is nothing but gospels and truths of God. Whatever Jesus was told, and he told his disciples, his disciples wrote it down in form of testaments. Culmination of these testaments formed the Bible. Bible means = bib (imbibe), le = means the truth. The truth that has to be imbibed in life.
Jesus came at the time when religion was being interpreted in a completely wrong way. Priests were stating their own thing in name of God and harassing common people. There was anarchy and violence everywhere. Jesus came as a messenger of peace. Due to his previous births, he had certain qualities of nobility in him. Due to this, he had knowledge of what is right and wrong. So even though he saw what was happening and with people trying to brain wash him, he still did not get affected by it. He was directed by his inner voice to go to the Himalayas to seek out higher masters who would lead him to enlightenment and his purpose of life. He lived in the Himalayas for 13 years. He met several masters including Mahavtaar Babaji Maharaj. He learnt the techniques of Kriya yoga, Sahaj yoga and Raj yoga. Finally, he self-realized what was his purpose in life and learnt it was compassion. He knew what was going to happen to his body when he came back to Jerusalem, yet he came back, as he had to give to people his love, his compassion but foremost the gospels of truth. He was in Israel for 9 years and spent all time teaching people the truth. When thousands started flocking to him, the priests got inflamed and in turn filled the emperor’s ears with poison against him. Jesus still wanted to give more, so he went into hiding so that he could help more & more people. He knew one of his disciples would betray him but all he showed was compassion to him and gave the ultimate sacrifice to show humankind what compassion is all about.
The gospels that he shared with his people are same as Veda, Gita, Quran, Guru Granth Sahib. Ultimately spiritualism is not about religion, but it is about following the truth. Truth cannot be distorted. Truth cannot bury, it cannot be hidden. It will always shine out and will always be told in forms that people need to understand. Gospels are messages of God. In other words, sutra means gospels - the truth of God. Jesus told that:
1. God is one. There are no 2 Gods. The entire world, universe, creation has only one creator.
2. The creator cannot be created, cannot be destroyed, cannot be divided, cannot be lost. Creator is all the time everywhere, in everyone. Creator is in part of everyone, in all his creation. Nothing can exist within the creator. No one can be separate from the creator.
3. The separation that you feel is the curtain that has been created. Once you cross that curtain then no separation will remain. Infact no separation will remain from anyone. All will be one. There will be no everyone. It will be all in one.
4. Love can be felt till there is duality. Once there is one, there is one to love. Till the time, you pray to God, pray that you see him in all. That way you will love all. When you love all, you will feel compassion for all.
5. Give up your unholy ways. Once a person pledged to give up his unholy ways he was baptized with the holy water. This is similar to washing away your sins in Ganga. It does not mean that taking a bath in Ganga washes your sins, but you pledge to walk on the path of truth, and you take bath in pure water to imbibe purity.
6. Love is the only way of washing away your sins. Love even your enemies. In their eyes, you are their enemy. In your eyes, there is only love. Jesus not only told that but also showed that in his life.
7. Give help to the poor & needy. Do not store more then what you need. Give alms, help the people suffer their karma. Together, suffering gets divided, together happiness increases.
8. Do not be greedy. Do not hurt. Do not steal. Do not lie. This is similar to Quran, Veda. These truths do not change.
9. God is all merciful. God is not feared but God is to be loved. Life cannot be lived in fear. Life has to be lived in love. Love all, love self, love God.
10. We are all children of God. God has made us in his image. As a parent, God is most worried about his children. He cannot bear to see difficulties in his child’s life. He is always graceful & showering his blessing all the time. For a tyrant child, he does scold, may sometimes punish but all this is only for the betterment of the child.
11. Learn to forgive and forgo. Vengeance, revenge have no place in the kingdom of God.
12. There is no devil. There is no evil spirit. Everything is within God. Positive & negative all become zero in God. There is no blackness or whiteness. Heaven & hell are interpretation based on your actions. In kingdom of God, there is only perfection- nothing else. When there is perfection, there is creativity - you can create both positive and negative.
13. God is the essence of life, food of life, nectar of life. There is no other thing in life except God.
14. Do not outsider yourself separate from God. God is in you, outside you, he is everywhere too.
