Divine mother (MA) has avatar (incarnation) - Durga, Amba who have to work miracles. Shaktipeeths are meant for Ashirwad (blessings). The world is managed through Kailash. Shaktipeeth are the bonuses. With grace, with blessings, the hindrances in destiny can be overcome. Mata (mother) is kripalu (merciful), pita (father) is strict. Mother is premaal (loving), father channels you to the right path. Mother will save the child; father will teach the child. Mother-father together make the child complete. When children play rasa (divine dance), MA (divine mother) also gets happy and comes to play rasa. Divine mother (MA) has nine forms. In Navratri (nine-night festival), each night is for one form of divine mother. During Navratri, the planets are aligned in such a way that the energy of divine mother is very fierce. Divine mother (MA) is the Swaroop (form) of bhakti (devotion), form of mercy. By doing worship of divine mother (MA), the devotee comes to God fast. To please divine mother is easy. She does not get upset easily. In the fold of divine mother, the child (devotee) is protected. Divine mother looks after welfare of the individual while divine father (Shiv) does jagat kalyan (world welfare). When divine mother comes, she stays with the devotee and does not leave the devotee. She does not differentiate with her devotee. She says, “Hun tara ma chu (I am in you). Tu mara ma che (you are in me).” The devotees of divine mother get liberation as they become one with divine mother. The devotees of Shiv get jagat kalyan (world welfare) as after liberation they become selfless (niswarth). The devotees of Krishna get Vaikunth (bliss) as they are all the time in devotion (bhakti)
The nine swaroops (forms) of MA (divine mother) are:
1. Durga swaroop – Shakti (Energy) Swaroop
2. Amba swaroop – Prem (Love) Swaroop
3. Kali Swaroop – Vinashak (Destruction of evil) Swaroop
4. Saraswati Swaroop – Gyan (Knowledge) Swaroop
5. Laxmi Swaroop – Dhan (Wealth) Swaroop
6. Parvati swroop – Jagat kalyan (World welfare) Swaroop
