• Door should be facing east. Sun rises in east, prakash (light) of shrushti (world) rises in east & enters in home from east. Door should not be in west as it is facing the setting sun.
• Raised hood of snake retards negative force in that direction. That is why in Shiva temple, snake on the Shivalinga always faces door. It suggests you should not enter the temple with negative thoughts.
• Where there is sampoornata (completeness), there is no need for Vaastu (architecture) shastra (science).
• North is the place to keep deity of temple as Kailash is in north.
• In principle, west is end (sunset), east is door (sun is rising), north is temple and south is towards negativity.
• In north, there should be temple. Northeast area should contain what is necessary for survival (for body survival – kitchen & wealth as presidential, for office – prime activity e.g., server – what is most essential for earning wealth), tijori (safe) should come in northeast. In northeast, in a software company, designer can sit as it is area for creativity). Place staff doing creativity facing north-east. Toilet symbolizes dirt. You remove dirt outside – so toilet should be in south. Storage, maintenance should be in Northwest.
• For office – sit in north facing God. Staff should sit in northeast & northwest. In northwest, place people doing clerical work.
• For residence - Living room should be in east & bedroom should be in west.
• Northeast - east is for sun & north is for God (recirculation).
• Wind charm is for harmony.
• If door is west facing, put a mirror on the east side, to change the direction.
• Pyramids are kept in south to keep negativity from coming in.
• Mirrors help to create direction in opposite direction so if door is in west & mirror is kept facing opposite then door becomes east.
• East windows to keep energy (new) coming in and south windows in toilet to throw away negative energy
• Granite creates heaviness and absorbs energy. Kailash, Girnar are granite so they absorb the immense energy generated otherwise it will destroy earth.
• Use granite in temple. It will absorb the excess energy.
• For working environment – use stain free marble as it is cool.
