When people do vyavahaar, they tend to make mistakes and their behaviour is not correct. Why do they make mistakes?
Mistakes occur due to
1) Selfishness
2) Laziness
3) Not right understanding
4) Expectations

1. Selfishness: We interact with people based on whether they are useful to us. If they are useful to us, we behave nicely. If they are not, we ignore them. Thus, first step where we go wrong is due to our selfishness. Similarly in spirituality, if we only want something from God, then we are selfish and cannot progress further in our relation with him. When we were young we are not like that. So then where we learnt it from. From our parents, teachers, friends. It is clear that our basic nature is not selfish. It is learned. So it can be unlearned. We don’t like selfishness, still we are selfish. If we want to do right vyavahaar – we will have to be unselfish.
What vyavahaar we do for people, we do same with God. We go to God for getting something, to decrease our dukh (suffering) and for that we do mantra & puja. If we are unselfish in vyavahaar then only we can be unselfish with God. Pray to god not with intention that he will fulfil it. If you want right relation, then you have to be unselfish with God. It is not necessary that if you are unselfish with God, you will be unselfish with people. This is because you consider people separate from God.
2. Laziness: A person who is unselfish but still does not give priority, then in vyavahaar will remain there & there. Some procrastinate work, some are lazy while worshipping – one needs to give priority in life. Where there is laziness God is not in priority.
3. Right understanding: Your heart is pure, you want to do but you don’t know what to do. To understand others first you need to connect to yourself, understand yourself. Once you understand yourself, you will get understanding of others else you will only blame others. We will also blame God. Saints never miss right vyavahaar. Spiritually advanced people are correct in vyavahaar. However ordinary people cannot understand them.
4. Expectation: We know the other person has a problem but still expect that he should behave like this. We go to God with unselfishness, in priority but with expectation – That God should listen to me, God should do such things. When we keep such expectation, then we misuse.

If we understand all these points, then this is gist of Gita. Krishna teaches us “Art of living”. Do your karma, do not worry about the fruits.

Vyavahaar in business
1) Understand the priority of your client
2) Need to focus what they are telling
3) Understand their viewpoint
4) Keep this in mind – If I benefit the other should also benefit. How to give benefit to both.
This is correct way of doing business. You see your profit but without being selfish .

When you say, ભગવાન ની ઇચ્છા (whatever is God’s wish) - that is complete surrenderness. When you say, ભગવાન ને યોગ્ય લાગે (whatever god feels is proper), that is incomplete as there are resitrictions to the same.

- These are topics of various aspects of spirituality as told by Para.
