No wonder hardships have made perfect you
Curse or blessing in disguise they are? I ask you
Would you have else, strived to achieve thee too
Spirit positive no doubt you had in you
To achieve no matter whatever happened to you
You tell us to learn and ready we are for you
To learn the lessons of life and love from you
Yardstick shall the hardships be of how we are too
And measure true distance they shall from you.
