A thought to be thoughtless that is what I thought

To be free from thoughts, how do I become thoughtless

Till the time I am aware of myself, I can’t be thoughtless

The moment I lose bodily conscious and yet be awake, I know

That moment I shall be thoughtless for sure, I know

But till then imagine only I can of thoughtless so

And strive harder I can to remain thought free so

What state that must be, I wonder aloud

What peace and eternal bliss it must be not to be bound

Thought that I was thoughtless, that was also a thought
