As per Darwin’s theory, man emerged from monkeys. Over a period, evolution of chimpanzees & gorillas into humans occurred. Mammals evolved when amphibians came on land and evolved. Amoeba, bacteria evolved into higher beings over a period of time. However, this theory is not true. When God created this universe, he created various forms, thus he created amoeba, bacteria, viruses, plants, birds, animals, and humans. He created “jeev”(soul) which were incorporated into these forms. He also created law of karma whereby a soul would go up or down, various forms based on various karmas.
The animal, plant and other forms are only forms where you are wiping out certain karmas. Humans have power of thinking, discrimination. Thus, they can create new karma. Animals and plant form cannot create new karma. They only wipe out old ones. There are 84 lakh life forms. A soul can get birth in any life form based on his karma. Thus, if he has too much jealousy and poison in him, he will take birth as a snake. If he is too scared, he will take birth as a rabbit. If he is only harming others and is blood sucking, he will be a mosquito. Each life form helps to wipe out that particular trait in a soul. It is not necessary that a soul go through 84 lakh life forms one by one. Depending upon his karma and what needs to be wiped out, soul will get a particular form. In past life regressions, humans have not remembered their births as animals because as an animal, you do not have power of discrimination or thoughts. Thus, you do not remember those births. Highly evolved souls who are above limitations of the mind can remember each & every life of theirs such as Shrimad Ramchandra and various tirthankaras.
God is continuously making new souls in his factory. The souls who have overcome all their karma merge back into God and arise above the cycle of life & death. When God made creation, initially no soul had any karma to wipe out. Thus, each life form when they died merged in God. But humans accrued karma due to their free will and then took birth as various animals & birds & plants. This is also described in Bible that Adam & Eve fell from heaven when they ate the forbidden apple. (The apple depicts temptation and they bound karma due to that). Thus, they entered into cycle of life & death. At the times of pralaya, God asked Manu (Noah) to fill his boat will all possible life forms which could be carried ahead in this next age (yuga). That is how all these life forms exist.
In Sat Yuga, there were more animals than humans whereas in Kaliyuga there are more humans that animals. Humans can achieve God due to their thinking & discrimination power. Thus, human birth is highly precious and difficult to get. It is an irony that in Kaliyuga there are so many humans as compared to animals. This is not because these souls have overcome their vices (vikaars). These souls still have those animal-like vices in them and actually cause harm to other humans. Thus, violence, rape, sadism, hatred, murder occur with higher frequency in Kaliyuga. As animals, they cannot cause so much harm. Thus, in Kaliyuga, there are animal tendencies in humans. Infact in Kaliyuga, certain animals will become extinct, and souls will suffer their karma in human forms without advancing further.
In Sat Yuga, forests were more. However, in Kaliyuga, forests will be destroyed, and other life forms will become extinct. Humans will become enemies of human. Even in Sat Yuga, there were humans with similar mentality as in Kaliyuga, but they were less in number. In Kaliyuga, percentage of sadistic humans will be higher. Certain countries have a higher population and certain countries have less population as certain areas of the world are meant for enjoying karma e.g., Europe whereas certain areas are meant for wiping out karma e.g., India and certain areas are like hell where you actually suffer your karma. Thus heaven, hell, earth is all here.
In this era of industrialization, where there is so much progress materialistically and electronically is it still possible that this is Kaliyuga? Yes, it is possible as technology has not changed people’s thinking. Even in olden days, people had mental technology where everything could be done mentally & not through physical technology. People could travel through thought waves and could communicate through thought waves, science and religion was one and people could travel through the 3 worlds without even leaving their physical body. Now to go to other worlds, it is not possible to do that in physical body. In Sat Yuga, devas & humans could talk with each other, see each other. There was hardly any difference between them. In Kaliyuga, devas and higher beings remain invisible to human eyes.
