Innocent ways and innocent days,
Where have they gone and what do they say?
When one was concerned for each other,
And humans ware there for each other.
When giving was the way of life,
And sharing was the happiness of life.
When the joy was only in loving,
And delight was only in smiling.
When the wants & desires were low,
And the love for nature was all the more.
When commitments were more important,
And relationships were not so distant.
When the call of God was heard loud and clear,
And the goal of life was to be simple and have no fear.
Where have they gone, those days, where have they gone?
In the automations of life, everything is lost and gone.
